Türlersee Lake

Small but great - at the Türlersee lake, a day trip feels like a vacation.

The Türlersee lake is the ideal place to escape from city life for a short time. The lake, which is around 1.5 kilometers (1 mile) long and 500 meters (0.3 mile wide), is located in a nature reserve and is listed in the Federal Inventory of Landscapes and Natural Monuments of National Importance (BLN).

Swimming Fun Guaranteed

The lido lies directly next to the campsite, and immediately gives rise to a vacation feeling. Relaxing on the grassy area, you can leave the hustle and bustle of the city far behind you. There are several floats to swim to in the lake, and boats are also available for hire. In addition, the youngest guests can let off steam in the playground.

Fishing and Fish Specialty

At the Türlersee, you can fish from the shore, or –with a fishing license – also from a boat. The lake is inhabited by, among others, pike and whitefish. Further information about fishing in the Türlersee can be found on the website of the Türlersee Fishing Association. And those who despite great patience do not manage to catch anything can tuck into tasty “Fischknüsperli” (battered fish) in the campsite restaurant.
